Job Title: Shipping and Receiving ClerkJob DescriptionThe Shipping and Receiving Clerk coordinates daily shipping and receiving activities, manages order flow in the shipping system, and supports the lead shipping specialist as a reliable backup. This role monitors the shipping queue, organizes freight shipments, and ensures accurate documentation for domestic and international orders while maintaining a safe and efficient work area.1st shift - 7am to 3:30pm (OT 5am) $22.hr INTERVIEW AND START ASAP International Shipping is a must Forklift Responsibilities

• Run daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all outgoing and incoming shipments are processed accurately and on time. • Monitor the shipping queue in the M2M system and print packing lists to support efficient order fulfillment. • Assign orders to the team for picking and packing, coordinating workflow to meet production and shipping deadlines. • Organize freight shipments, including scheduling carriers and preparing required documentation. • Process shipments using UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager, ensuring correct service levels, addresses, and labels. • Prepare and review Bills of Lading and customs documents for domestic and international shipments to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including picking, order pulling, and verifying incoming materials against documentation. • Act as a backup to the lead person in the shipping and receiving area, stepping in to manage operations as needed. • Follow work assignments, directions, instructions, and the Work Order Schedule provided by the Production Lead. • Determine job order requirements based on production priorities and ensure materials and shipments align with these requirements. • Review assembly instructions, engineering drawings, or notes on the Bill of Materials (BOM) when available to understand product and shipping requirements. • Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses as needed for some electronics subassemblies. • Assemble select electronics subassemblies to install harnesses in support of shipping or production needs. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, room, or station at all times. • Ensure that efficiency requirements and quality standards are consistently met in shipping, receiving, and assembly tasks. • Follow all safety requirements and safety policies, including proper handling of equipment and materials. • Work effectively with others by using clear communication and following established processes and procedures. Essential Skills

• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems, including UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager. • Strong computer skills for working in systems such as M2M and other shipping or production software. • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and production leads. • Ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including picking, order pulling, and organizing freight shipments. • Ability to follow detailed work assignments, directions, instructions, and Work Order Schedules. • Familiarity with wire gauges (AWG) and associated components used in wire harness fabrication. • Knowledge of terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harnesses. • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and notes on Bills of Materials (BOM). • Skill in using hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses. • Capability to assemble electronics subassemblies to install harnesses. • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work area and adhering to all safety policies. • Focus on meeting efficiency requirements and quality standards on a regular basis. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a shipping and receiving environment. • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for inventory and order management. • Understanding of Bills of Lading and customs documentation for freight and international shipments. • Ability to serve as a reliable backup to a lead shipping and receiving specialist. • Attention to detail in documentation, labeling, and verification of shipments. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
