Job Title: Maintenance PlannerJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Planner plays a key role in ensuring reliable and efficient operations by planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities. This role focuses on organizing maintenance work orders, aligning resources, and collaborating with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime and support continuous manufacturing operations. Responsibilities • Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. • Create, issue, and maintain maintenance work orders and detailed maintenance schedules. • Coordinate maintenance activities with maintenance technicians, production teams, and other departments to align work with operational needs. • Ensure all required tools, spare parts, and materials are available before maintenance work begins. • Track equipment maintenance history and keep maintenance records accurate and up to date. • Prioritize maintenance activities based on equipment condition, production requirements, and urgency. • Communicate effectively with other functions to plan, sequence, and prioritize maintenance work. • Assist in developing preventive maintenance programs and contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes. Essential Skills • Proven experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing environment. • Strong understanding of production operations and how maintenance activities impact output. • Hands-on experience with maintenance control and work order management. • Proficiency in using Excel for planning, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities. • Ability to work effectively as a planner, organizing tasks, resources, and schedules. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple maintenance activities and priorities. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Manufacturing experience, ideally in a setting with complex equipment and production lines. • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance technicians and production staff. • Attention to detail in maintaining records and documenting maintenance history. • Strong communication skills to coordinate work and align priorities across departments. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
