As a Senior Associate - Private Equity, Real Estate you will support tax compliance work for clients in these sectors, helping review and analyze financial information, prepare filings, and address tax law requirements within our Tax Services practice. As a Senior Associate you will build meaningful client connections, manage assigned workstreams, mentor junior team members, and navigate complex situations with sound judgment while developing your technical skills and personal brand. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to tax compliance deliverables, interpret data to inform recommendations, use critical thinking to break down complex concepts, and respond to shifting client needs in a professional services environment.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing private equity and real estate client data to prepare and file tax returns in line with applicable tax laws and regulations - Analyzing financial statements, accounting records, and supporting schedules to validate tax positions and identify filing issues - Preparing tax workpapers, calculations, and documentation for compliance reporting and client deliverables - Applying tax research and technical knowledge to address complex compliance questions across asset management structures - Coordinating assigned workstreams and tracking deadlines across multiple engagements and filing cycles - Interpreting changes in tax rules and client business activities to adapt compliance procedures and reporting inputs - Guiding junior team members through return preparation, document gathering, and review comments - Building client relationships by responding to questions, clarifying data requests, and translating technical tax issues into clear updates
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce - At least 2 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required
