Job Title: Quality SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Specialist with a passion for improving manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading root cause investigations, CAPA initiatives, and implementing process improvements. This role requires hands-on experience with customer audits and quality systems within a manufacturing environment, driving corrective actions and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities • Lead root cause investigations to identify and resolve quality issues. • Drive Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives to enhance product quality. • Implement manufacturing process improvements to ensure efficiency and compliance. • Conduct and support customer audits, ensuring adherence to quality standards. • Engage with production teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement. • Support quality systems management and ensure compliance with industry standards. Essential Skills • Quality assurance expertise • Proficiency in quality engineering principles • Experience with CAPA processes • Skilled in root cause analysis • Supplier quality management • Familiarity with medical device manufacturing • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) • Understanding of quality control processes • Familiarity with ISO standards Additional Skills & Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering/Assurance role within manufacturing, ideally in the medical device sector Work EnvironmentThe position is set in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on supporting quality, production, and continuous improvement initiatives. It requires regular interaction with production teams and involvement in investigations, audits, customer support activities, and process improvement projects. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Benefits information will be discussed during the interview process and include health insurance, retirement savings options, paid time off, and additional employee programs.
