Job Title: Drug Manufacturing SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Drug Manufacturing Specialist to join a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). The role is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with production locations in South Bend, IN, and Bunker Hill, IN. The Specialist will be responsible for the process manufacturing of radiopharmaceutical products, preparation of production materials, supplies, and general production equipment maintenance. Responsibilities • Carry out production responsibilities to meet manufacturing schedules. • Perform chemistry manipulations for production in a GMP environment. • Ensure regulatory compliance of production protocols within the manufacturing operations. • Conduct analytical methods and procedures for testing GMP manufactured radiopharmaceutical products. • Prepare and submit required reports. • Support and execute deviation reports, Out of Specification (OOS) reports, root cause investigations, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). • Optimize and validate methods and procedures for radiopharmaceutical products. • Assist with creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for use in production. • Assist with the preparation of regulatory submissions. • Assist with general lab cleaning, supplies, and maintenance. • Assist with waste management. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills • Experience in Laboratory, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering. • Background in Radiopharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. • Understanding of Quality Control, Nuclear Medicine, and GMP protocols. • Competence in HPLC, Isotope, and Radioactive material handling. • Proficiency in Aseptic and Cleanroom procedures. • Troubleshooting skills for lab equipment and instrumentation. • Experience in Validation, Instrument Qualification, and Calibration. • Knowledge of Radiation and Radiopharma processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Associates degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with a preference for radiopharmaceuticals. • Experience in pharmaceuticals, preferably in a quality or production position. • Prior experience in a radiopharmaceutical environment is a plus. • Excellent communication, analytical, computer/PC, and technical writing skills. • Ability to handle responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. • Thorough understanding of project management. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Work EnvironmentCandidates will work onsite at the facility located at Grissom Air Force Base in Bunker Hill, IN. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bunker Hill, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
