DescriptionThe lab analyst will be working in the petfood lab to do QC Analysis on raw materials and finished product. Products will be prepared by a separate team and given to the analysts to run chromatography and liquid chromatography testing on product to check shelf life of food, nutritional value of food - vitamins and minerals, and stability of product - when will it start to spoil? Chem Analyst will provide technical knowledge and expertise in the use and application of specialized analytical instrumentation to support Nutritional testing, pre-mix, pre-blends, mixer studies, raw ingredients, developmental products, and finished product analysis. Specific instrumentation includes, but not limited to, ICP, ICP MS, Leco Protein Analyzers, Fat Extractors, Auto Titrators, TGA, HPLC, GC, Mass Spec, Wet Chemistry tests.VMS Job Description: Assignment Level Descriptor: Entry level position with basic knowledge of Assignment procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr.
