Description des tâches: Position Summary and Primary Objectives : As our Worship Associate, you will support the Worship Director in pursuit of the church's mission, in development of our Worship Ministry and worship teams, and in carrying out the functions of ANCL's Worship Ministry as indicated by the Worship Director. The Worship Associate will also explore and propose to the Worship Director new areas inside and outside of the church where ANCL's worship ministry can expand. Works with: Worship Director, Lead Pastor, other Staff and Ministry leaders, Worship ministry team leaders, worship leaders and team members Direct supervisor: Worship Director Main Duties / Key Responsibilities : Work with the Worship Director to build an effective and efficient Worship Ministry leadership team, create a strong sense of “team and community” within the ministry, and integrate the ministry into the larger church community. Assist and support the Worship Director in creating & supporting a strong team-based ministry, including pastoral care. On average – lead worship on Sunday morning once a month; joyfully deliver Christian teaching in word and song in tandem with the Pastor's message, creating a worship setting inclusive of everyone in the congregation - Christ being the focus of attention - and facilitating moments of adoration, thanksgiving, confession, celebration, and other such devotional responses. Explore and develop options for the expansion of the Worship Ministry within the church (for example, ANCL Small Groups). Attend ANCL Staff meetings as requested by the Worship Director. Provide onboarding and ongoing training for projection volunteers. Provide support as needed for non-Sunday events – Men's Retreat, resources for Women's Getaway, seasonal events like Christmas & Easter, etc. Lead expansion / entrepreneurial type projects to develop on behalf of the Worship Ministry (as approved by the Worship Director). Optimize the various platforms the ministry uses for organization and communication (PCO, website, social media, etc.). Meet weekly with the Worship Director. Other duties as assigned, within the context of the position. At minimum, a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Administrative abilities. Team building and leading skills. Technologically savvy, with experience using online databases, platforms and applications Autres compétences: Skills/Personal Attributes : Committed worshipper of Christ in living your personal life, embodying ANCL values/beliefs/culture. Team player/leader; able to work collaboratively, persuade others, come to a common approach; actively support ANCL mission/vision & contribute positively to team dynamic. Desire to work with volunteers in creative setting. Ability to relate/communicate well with leaders/staff/volunteers. Positive outlook. Self-motivated/committed to producing consistent, positive experience for team/congregation. Able to have difficult conversations when needed/persevere through challenges. Flexible, adaptable, resilient. Appreciation/respect of cultural/theological differences. Lead worship/inspire congregation with strong vocal/instrumental proficiency. Excellent organizational skills, adeptly managing time/resources/events/admin tasks to support the ministry's smooth functioning. Diplomatic with strong oral/written communication skills. Entrepreneurial/forward thinking.
