About this role

Who we are looking for The Vice President, Enterprise Reconciliation Centre of Excellence, will provide strategic leadership to global teams, overseeing multiple international accounts in a dynamic environment. This role requires the establishment of robust communication channels and relationships across operations, technology, and client management, ensuring exemplary standards of service delivery. The successful candidate will regularly interact with brokers, custodians, fund accountants, internal clients, and third parties, efficiently identifying and escalating reconciliation discrepancies. Coordination with cross-functional groups, including Corporate Actions, Trade Support, Custody, and client Middle Office teams, is essential. Participation in governance activities is required, including adherence to standard operating procedures and the timely reporting of KPI, KRI, and MIS metrics against defined SLA benchmarks. Responsibilities encompass conducting periodic review meetings and presenting statistical updates to senior management and clients. In addition, the candidate will drive change initiatives aimed at redefining operational workflows and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability. This includes proactively identifying opportunities for process transformation, collaborating with stakeholders to adopt best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Enterprise Reconciliation COE. Leadership in this capacity is vital to ensuring the organization’s agility in responding to evolving client and industry requirements. What you will be responsible for

• Develop comprehensive expertise in State Street products to facilitate operational enhancements through automation and process optimization. • Support the development of strategic and tactical global client solutions in collaboration with Senior Management, Client Managers, and Business Architecture. • Apply financial and business acumen to elevate performance across functions, including budget maintenance and cost analysis. • Deliver clear and effective presentations to executives and peers. • Extend client service models to ensure seamless delivery throughout Business Operations. • Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies; participate in strategic projects as a representative of the team. • Demonstrate strong risk management and communicate exposures or incidents to management. • Supervise staff development, including coaching, training, performance development plans, and year-end reviews. • Promote effective internal communications and relationships, motivating and supporting team members. • Monitor systems of control, delegated authority, and escalation procedures to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations. • Provide support for new business onboarding, change management, and strategic initiatives utilizing program and project management skills. • Exhibit superior analytical capabilities and respond promptly to challenges. • Foster a culture of ‘Risk Excellence’ and openness, encouraging rigorous discussion and constructive challenge. • Encourage individual ownership and accountability in task execution. • Uphold the highest standards of conduct, both personally and among staff. • Oversee continuous career development, coaching, personal objective setting, regular one-on-one sessions, and evaluation processes. • Extensive experience in asset management, encompassing investment operations, fund accounting, and portfolio valuation. • Broad and in-depth industry knowledge acquired through diverse roles. • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • A client-focused approach to prioritizing and delivering services. • Demonstrated experience in investigating trade and reconciliation discrepancies. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams and adapt beyond standard responsibilities. Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, technology, or an equivalent professional discipline. • Documented experience in leading large-scale operations (exceeding 100 personnel). • Proven ability to communicate and interact with clients at all organizational levels. • Comprehensive understanding of technologies fundamental to investment management operations. • Experience in driving organizational change, proficiency in change management principles and tools. • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. • Outstanding written and spoken English language skills.
