Visa Information: TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
Position Description: Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.
Major/Essential Functions: • Provide support to Program director preforming administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating operational activities of the School of Pharmacy Fellowship program. • Provide support for the Pharmacy Practice Department Chair and Business/Unit Manager(s) with various duties such as scheduling appointments, meetings, mail distribution, maintaining department rosters and bulletin boards, Maintain Pharmacy Practice Box site, Filling room. Prepare overnight shipments, prepare exam materials as well as proctor exams with faculty, or alone for ADA requests, entering TMA Work request as needed, compiling data / spreadsheets when requested, record retention and other duties as assigned by Supervisors.. • Process Travel applications and vouchers for the faculty in all divisions as well and the Pharmacy Practice Department Chair, Pharmacy Staff and Pharmacy Operations Unit Manager. Track spending for each division head and faculty member to ensure they do not exceed their allotted travel budget as well as to track what money is pulled from their PIP funds for travel or registration. • Allocate P-Card funds for faculty members and Business Managers, collecting receipts and transferring allocations on P-Card statements to other FOAPs as needed. Ensure that all P-Cards remain compliant at all times. Prepare all P-card month end.
Occasional Duties: • Provide additional staff support to our Pharmacy
Required Qualifications: High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: • Highly organized, • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Computer Skills; including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
