Job Title: IT Cluster Lead
Location: School-based within a region, with regular travel
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time, All Year Round
FTE Salary Range: £33,699 - £36,363
Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
Leading IT service delivery across a cluster of schools
Line managing and developing IT technicians
Acting as the primary IT contact for academy leadership
Providing second line technical support and escalation
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, security and GDPR
Supporting projects such as upgrades, rollouts and migrations
Promoting best practice, consistency and customer service
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has strong experience in IT support and service delivery
Is confident leading and supporting technical staff
Has excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Is organised, proactive and solution focused
Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel
Is motivated to work within education and support school communities
Experience within education or similar service driven environments is desirable.
About the Trust

We operate 21 academies across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, serving learners aged 3 to 19. Alongside our primary, all-through and technical provision, we are proud to include a strong and integral network of seven special schools and one alternative provision setting.
