The Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you will turn inbound interest from businesses throughout the UK into qualified sales of our client’s digital learning solutions.
Specifically, as a first point of contact for prospective customers, you will respond to inbound enquiries and hold discovery conversations to understand their needs and requirements.
You will book qualified meetings for the New Business closing team, working closely with colleagues to ensure leads are handed over smoothly and progress effectively. You will also maintain accurate customer and opportunity information across the CRM and Outreach.
Additionally, you will:
- Engage prospective customers through phone calls and Microsoft Teams - Respond promptly to inbound enquiries - Maintain a consistent, high-quality qualification process - Keep customer and opportunity data accurate and up to date
About You
To be considered as a Sales Development Representative, you will need:
- Previous experience in a sales, lead generation, business development or customer-facing commercial role - An understanding of how to build relationships, identify opportunities and contribute to revenue growth - A positive, resilient attitude and the motivation to work towards goals and targets - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and uncover customer needs - Strong organisation and time management skills - Curiosity, drive and a genuine desire to build a career in sales
