Job Title: Classroom Teacher
Grade(s) and Subject(s): 9-12 History Teacher (Social Studies, History, Government, Economics) Reports To: Principal Term: 10 months Job Overview: This is a pool posting for opportunities for the (2026-2027) school year within Haywood County Schools. JOB GOAL: Work with students to help them learn concepts in History, and assist students in applying concepts they have learned. QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Hold appropriate Tennessee certification license.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Effective decision-making and verbal and written communication skills.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide an instructional program that is differentiated.
• Create a secure classroom climate.
• Analyze data and adjust your lessons accordingly.
• Plan, develop, implement, and monitor student success as your goal.
• Use available technology in your lessons.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Principal.
