The Hawbridge School Position Overview The MTSS/Title I Coordinator supports The Hawbridge School’s efforts to ensure students receive the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support needed to be successful. This position coordinates the school’s Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Title I programs, working closely with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff across grades K–12. Key Responsibilities -MTSS Coordination -Coordinate and support implementation of the school’s K–12 MTSS framework. -Facilitate regular MTSS meetings and help teams identify students needing additional support. -Assist teachers with selecting and implementing appropriate interventions. -Monitor student progress and help teams use data to determine next steps. -Maintain organized MTSS documentation, intervention plans, and progress-monitoring records. -Support consistent Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 practices across the school. -Help strengthen communication between teachers, families, administrators, and student support staff. Title I Coordination -Coordinate implementation of the school’s Title I program and annual requirements. -Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Title I plan and goals. -Maintain required Title I documentation and assist with compliance, reporting, and monitoring. -Coordinate Title I parent and family engagement activities and required communications. -Work with school leadership to ensure Title I funds, programs, and resources are aligned with identified student needs. -Assist with collecting and reviewing data used to evaluate the effectiveness of Title I services. Instructional & Student Support -Collaborate with teachers to identify strategies and resources for students needing additional academic or behavioral support. -Help staff analyze assessment, attendance, behavior, and intervention data. -Provide or coordinate professional learning related to MTSS, interventions, progress monitoring, and Title I requirements. -Work collaboratively with Exceptional Children, Section 504, counseling, testing, and administrative teams to ensure student supports are coordinated appropriately. Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree required; education-related degree preferred. -NC teaching license or relevant educational experience preferred. -Experience with MTSS, student interventions, data analysis, Title I, or instructional support preferred. -Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. -Ability to manage documentation and timelines while maintaining a student-centered approach.
