Location: Secret City Academy Contract Days: 140 Assignment Dates: ASAP Salary: Paid in accordance with the Teacher Salary Schedule. POSITION SUMMARY: Oak Ridge Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher. The teacher will provide individualized instruction, manage special education services, and collaborate with staff and families to support student learning and progress. JOB EXPECTATIONS:

• Demonstrate knowledge of subject areas relevant to the assignment.
• Provide special education case management.
• Schedule meetings, develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and accurately document progress toward IEP goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal/Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree and an active Tennessee teaching license with Special Education endorsement code 460 appropriate for the assignment required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Special education case management experience preferred.
