Beebe Elementary School (Grades 24) Position: Paraprofessional Location: Beebe Elementary School (Grades 24) Reports To: Building Principal Contract: As determined by district salary schedule and Board policy Position Summary Beebe School District is seeking a dedicated, caring, and dependable paraprofessional to support teachers and students in grades 24. The successful candidate will assist with classroom instruction, provide individualized and small-group academic support, help maintain a positive learning environment, and contribute to the overall success and well-being of students. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist certified teachers with daily classroom instruction and activities. • Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic skills. • Support students with assigned interventions and accommodations. • Help prepare instructional materials and classroom resources. • Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, playground, and during other assigned duties. • Foster positive relationships with students while promoting appropriate behavior and classroom expectations. • Assist with classroom organization and record keeping as directed. • Support students with technology and educational software. • Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and information. • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to meet student needs. • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or supervising teacher. Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required. • Must meet Arkansas Department of Education requirements for paraprofessionals (such as completion of required assessments or college credit, if applicable). • Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. • Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Physical Requirements
