Anticipated Opening School Spring #5946960 Organizational Relationship Or Line of Authority: After-School Program or Assistant Program Director Internship Coordinator, Education Internship Coordinator Hourly rate: $15.00 / hour up to 8 hours a week Statement of Duties:
• Complete internship training and pre-program planning
• Assist Discovery Club Mentor Teacher in delivery of instruction
• Work as a member of a team with other staff and Student Education Interns after school over the course of about 60 planning and program hours
• Assist with evaluation and data collection
• Complete final Internship program requirements
• Responsible for other duties as indicated by directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designees; and policies of the Haverhill School Committee.
Qualifications:
• Haverhill High School student, currently in grades 9-12
• Interest in a career in the Education field
• Experience in Discovery Club or Access 21 – Preferred.
• Ability to work with children
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
