About this role
Newton South High School's after school theatre program, South Stage, is looking for a dynamic and engaging director to lead our winter production of Alice in Wonderland. Our production will showcase talents of high school actors and designers with an emphasis on ensemble storytelling and including actors of all abilities and skill levels. “Alice falls down the rabbit hole. Mad tea parties, sarcastic caterpillars, depressed turtles, and one, very, very irrational Queen. Will Alice ever escape this dream-like landscape? Or was she never meant to at all? This one-act adaptation of CS Lewis' beloved classic will leave you smiling, thinking, and perhaps a little more curious about the world around you.” QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to stage and rehearse a play showcasing students of diverse backgrounds, abilities, and skill levels
• Ability to collaborate with a team of student designers for set, costumes, props, lighting, and sound (professional costumer, tech director, and other support will be provided)
