West Branch Schools is accepting applications for 2026-27 school year for the opening: Part-time Custodian 8-10 hours a week We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities. Responsibilities:- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and dusting- Maintain and clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming- Handle trash removal and ensure proper disposal- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies- Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed- Monitor and report any repairs or replacements needed- Follow safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment Qualifications:- Previous experience in custodial or related roles preferred- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and procedures- Ability to perform floor care tasks including buffing and waxing- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean environment- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions make a difference.
