About this role
Elementary Basketball Coaching Expectations: Be fingerprint cleared through Humboldt Unified School District Be available for practices and games from late October to early December Understand basic basketball rules (these will be provided) Demonstrate patience and a "for the kids" attitude when working with 5th and 6th grade boys and girls. Hold a brief meeting with parents after 1st practice Coach games 2 afternoons per week (4 games total/week –we have a red team and a white team) Communicate with athlete's families and athletic director with organized, typed schedules and season information Inventory, distribute and collect jerseys and equipment Report game results and standings to athletic director
