Community Health/School Nurse – Middle School Position Title: Community Health/School Nurse – Middle School Department: Board of Health Full Time/hours: 35 hours / week Union/Grade: G-15 / AFSCME Salary Range: $37.40 to $48.71 per hour, depending upon qualifications The Town of Wayland seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Health/School Nurse to provide essential community health care to students and staff at the Wayland Middle School and Wayland Public Schools. If you have a passion for student health and wellness, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of middle school students and staff. The Community Health/School Nurse is responsible for providing a wide range of health services to students including routine and emergency care, and medication administration. Ideal candidates will have experience working with middle school aged children, school nursing, pediatric or comparable nursing experience. For a full job description click here. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Experience: Over two (2) years of experience in school, pediatric, community health or comparable nursing experience. Licenses/Certificates:

• Registered professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• Current certifications in Adult and Pediatric BLS CPR/First Aid/AED or certifications obtained prior to start.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Nurse Licensure preferred, but not required
