Per-Diem RN/LPN— Field Trips & Athletic Events Pentucket Regional School District Job Details __________________________________________________________________ Pentucket Regional School District is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide specialized medical support during after-school athletic practices, games, and extracurricular field trips. • Student Health Monitoring — Observe and monitor student health status during athletic events, practices, and off-campus trips.
• Medication Administration — Safely administer prescribed medications and emergency rescue treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies.
• Emergency Response — Recognize and respond quickly and effectively to student medical concerns or emergencies.
• Team Collaboration — Work in coordination with school nurses, coaches, event chaperones, and district administrators.
• Documentation — Maintain clear, confidential health records and log medication administration.
Qualifications
• Valid licensure as an RN or LPN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in pediatric, school, or emergency nursing preferred
Position Overview
• Schedule: Flexible, per-diem hours (after-school, evenings, and occasional weekend trips)
• Location: Pentucket Regional School District (Groveland, Merrimac, & West Newbury, MA)
• Compensation: $25.00/hour for LPN; $35.00/hour for RN
• Position Type: Part-Time / Per-Diem
