To assist students in benefiting from their educational programs and functioning as independently as possible by providing intervention and/or consultation services. The occupational therapist applies these domains of knowledge to the educational community through a problem-solving perspective for children birth through 21. • Completion of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
• Current license from the Iowa Department of Public Health to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Iowa.
• Statement of Professional Recognition from the Iowa Department of Education.
• Experience or interest in pediatric occupational therapy is desired.
• Such additions, alternatives, or deletions as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
