About this role
This placement is designed to provide a practical learning experience in car valeting. The eligible candidate will receive training and be mentored in the following: • How to greet and welcome customers in a professional manner. • Answer incoming phone calls and take bookings. • Assist and learn about the different valeting services such as upholstery cleaning, polishing, and engine bay cleaning. • Be trained in the use of the Equipment Used in Car Valeting. • Assist and learn about the different car wash techniques. • Assist and learn about Car polishing and waxing. • Train on the safe and efficient use of car wash equipment (Foam Cannons, Pressure Washers, Brushes) and cleaning products. • Assist in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality control for all services provided.. This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.
