Job summary
We are currently looking for a Salaried GP to work 5 sessions per week. Days of work Tuesday AM & PM, Wednesday AM OR PM, Thursday AM & PM - Duty GP.
We are looking for a GP with excellent communication and teamworking skills to integrate into our practice of around 8600 patients.
Our team is made up of 2 Clinical Partners, 1 Business Partner, 4 Salaried GP's, 1 ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA's and 12 admin staff.
The practice meets regularly and prides itself on having a friendly, relaxed and supportive working environment for everyone involved. We encourage all staff to develop professionally and support this through in-house learning and external courses.
Main duties of the job
SessionsThe BMA Handbook states that The Model Contract states a ful time Salaried GP works 37.5hrs per week. This is calculated to be 9 nominal sessions each being 4hr 10mins
Number of Sessions Worked 5 sessions per week which equates to 21hrs per week.
Annual Leave Annual leave is calculated using the calculation agreed in the BMA handbook. Number of Contracted Hours Worked x 0.8 equals Number of Days Leave per Year.
TuesdaySession One: 9.00am 12.30pm. Booked Clinic, usually 2 Pre-bookable, 8 Book on the Day appointments, 4 telephone calls with 2 GP Bookable should you wish to see the patient face to face
Session Two 2.00pm 5.30pm. Booked Clinic, usually 2 x Pre-bookable, 11 Book on the Day, 2 Telephone Calls
Share of daily paperwork/administrative/clinical tasks both NHS and Private.
Wednesday1 session either AM or PM Only To be discussed

Thursday DUTY GP
Session One 9.00am 12.00am. Booked Clinic usually 6 x e-consult and Protected Home Visits
Session Two 1.30pm 6.30pm. Booked Clinic usually 6 x Book on The Day Appointments, 4 Emergency Only Appointments & 3 PM Only Book by Duty GP Only.
Share of daily paperwork/administrative/clinical tasks both NHS and Private.

Riverside Surgery welcomes applications for a Salaried GP to cover 5 sessions. This is a permanent position.
We are looking for a committed Doctor with excellent communication and teamworking skills to integrate into our practice of around 8600 patients.
We are looking for 5 sessions across 3 days of the week. One of these days is an on-call/duty doctor day, where you would be responsible for practice visits. Face-to-face appointments are 15 minutes and are triaged by you through a combination of e-consult and telephone triage. We try and accommodate flexible start/finish times to fit around life.
We are involved with Foundation year two placements and ST1 3 GPs.
The modern premises are located in Rock Ferry. We cover a wide practice area, which means that our patients have differing socio-economic profiles and widely differing health care needs.

Person Specification
Driving Licence Essential
The applicant must hold a Full Clean Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle for home visits.
Experience Essential
Skills and Competencies Clinical knowledge of acute and chronic conditions Strong communication and empathy Problem-solving and adaptability Professionalism and teamwork knowledge of working in General Practice and an excellent understanding of EMIS, DOCMAN, PATCHs etc
Qualifications Essential
Examinations and Certification MRCGP You must pass the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) exams, which assess clinical knowledge, skills, and professional competencies GMC Registration After completing training and passing the MRCGP, you can apply for inclusion on the GP Register with the GMC, which grants a full license to practice as a GP in the NHS Any applicants must be fit to practice in the UK without any exclusions
