Main duties of the job
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing and serving patient meals in a safe, hygienic, and professional manner.
Supporting patients by providing a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate service.
Working closely with ward and kitchen teams to ensure meals are delivered accurately and on time.
Ensuring individual dietary requirements and preferences are met.
Maintaining clean, organised pantry and food service areas in line with health and safety standards.
Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and ensuring food quality standards are maintained.
Delivering meals and provisions to wards and clinical areas when required.
Supporting supervisors and managers in achieving service excellence and operational targets.
Completing quality checks, audits, and documentation to maintain high service standards.
Working flexibly across different hospital departments and food service areas.
