Project Manager – Restaurant Construction | Reston, VA
A long-standing commercial GC in Reston, VA is hiring a hands-on Project Manager to own restaurant projects across Northern Virginia and DC, from kickoff through closeout.
What you'll run
• 3 restaurant projects: 2 in VA and 1 in DC
• 2 smaller projects for a repeat customer
• 1 higher-end downtown DC build, approximately $5M
• All local, no overnight travel
What you'll do
• Own budget, cost tracking and financial performance
• Handle subcontractor buyout and contracts
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and long-lead procurement
• Drive the schedule with your Superintendent
• Lead OAC meetings and work directly with owners, architects and engineers
• Support an APM and keep repeat clients happy
• Run closeout, punch lists and turnover
What you bring
• 5+ years as a commercial construction PM
• Ground-up restaurant experience
• True project ownership, not just PM support
• Northern Virginia / DC market experience
