What You will Do
Your responsibilities will include:
• Perform high-quality carotid duplex, peripheral arterial, venous reflux, and venous duplex examinations according to lab protocols and IAC standards
• Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
• Prepare patients and examination rooms before testing
• Review previous examinations when applicable and identify/document relevant changes
• Prepare summarized findings for the interpreting physician
• Enter preliminary results and documentation into the electronic medical record
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked examination room
• Work collaboratively with the vascular laboratory team to maintain an efficient, positive patient experience
What We are Looking For
• Current RVT or RVS certification
• Current BLS certification
• 2+ years of experience performing a broad range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations
• Strong knowledge of vascular ultrasound techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Team-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently and confidently in a fast-paced environment
