The role extends beyond a single Squad and requires the ability to influence outcomes across organisational boundaries.</span></div> Your Mission <div style="font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;"><h2><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:18px;">What you'll do</span></h2><ul><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Create the conditions for effective delivery, ensuring Agile events, stakeholder interactions and team collaboration help Squads make informed decisions, maintain momentum and deliver valuable outcomes.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Coach Squads, Product stakeholders and leadership, helping them apply Agile thinking pragmatically rather than mechanically.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Identify, manage and remove impediments, risks and dependencies that impact delivery performance.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Partner with Market Product Managers to strengthen backlog refinement, sprint readiness and roadmap execution, while ensuring priorities, dependencies and delivery constraints remain visible.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Collaborate with Tech Writers to ensure documentation activities are planned and aligned with delivery objectives.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Use delivery insights and Agile metrics to improve predictability, transparency and sustainable ways of working.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Coordinate with Scrum Masters, Chapters and stakeholders to resolve cross-team dependencies and systemic delivery challenges.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Mentor less experienced Scrum Masters and contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile practices across ILIAS.</li></ul><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br></span></div><div style="font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;"><h2><span style="font-size:18px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">What success looks like</span></h2><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br>Your Squads deliver valuable outcomes predictably and sustainably, while collaboration across teams continues to improve. Product, Engineering and business stakeholders understand priorities, risks and dependencies early enough to act on them rather than react to them.<br><br>Teams take ownership of their commitments and continuously improve how they work, using Agile practices as tools for delivery rather than goals in themselves.<br><br>Stakeholders trust delivery forecasts because expectations are clear, communication is transparent and progress is visible.</span></div><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br></span><div style="font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;"><h2><span style="font-size:18px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">What you bring</span></h2><ul><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">5+ years working in Agile software delivery environments, with substantial experience as a Scrum Master or a comparable Agile delivery or coaching role.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong practical understanding of Scrum, Agile and Lean principles.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience coaching teams and stakeholders to improve collaboration, delivery effectiveness and ways of working.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Proven ability to facilitate complex discussions, resolve impediments and navigate competing priorities.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience influencing delivery across multiple teams, programmes or organisational domains, balancing team autonomy with broader business objectives.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Demonstrated ability to improve organisational delivery effectiveness, not only team-level performance.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Professional working proficiency in English.</li><li style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Eligibility to obtain and maintain the required national or NATO security clearance for this role.</li></ul><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">ILIAS Solutions supports candidates through the clearance process and is happy to explain what is involved before you apply.<br>If you meet most of the above, we encourage you to apply.
