Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of: (7:30AM to 5:30PM) ~ (Monday – Friday)
Salary ranges from: $50,000-$70,000
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in purchasing, or supply chain, or related experience • 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a technology driven or Transportation environment • Proven research, problem solving and pricing negotiation experience • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Manage operational purchasing activities across multiple departments and locations • Review sourcing requests and validate pricing • Issue and manage purchase orders • Monitor inventory levels and replenishment activities • Maintain visibility into operational spend and purchasing activity • Enforce purchasing policies and process compliance • Assist with cost reduction and spend optimization initiatives • Maintain purchase order updates and corrections • Monitor and manage inbox communications • Resolve invoice discrepancies and PO-related issues • Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and service issues • Provide administrative support to Purchasing team as needed
