About the role This role is responsible for providing hands-on technical support to customers across Brazil and internationally, with a focus on Pfister® dosing and feeding equipment used in the cement industry. You will support customers through equipment installation, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, maintenance and technical training.
About the department The Brazil Service team provides field technical support to customers in Brazil and around the world. The team works closely with our global technical experts to solve customer challenges and provide responsive, high-quality support throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities
• Provide technical supervision and support at customer sites for the maintenance, assembly, installation, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting of Pfister® dosing and feeding equipment and related cement-industry equipment. • Diagnose complex technical problems and recommend or implement appropriate corrective actions. • Prepare technical field reports and required service documentation following customer visits. • Train customers on equipment operation, features and maintenance. • Recommend parts, upgrades, products and services based on customer and equipment needs. • Build strong ongoing relationships with customers to support long-term partnerships and future business. • Collaborate with global technical teams and internal departments to resolve customer issues and provide technical support. • Promote a strong culture of personal, team and customer-site safety. • Travel approximately 80% of the time to support customers in Brazil and internationally.
You bring
• Engineering degree. • Technical experience with industrial dosing, weighing or feeding equipment, including assembly/installation, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting. • Experience with cement-industry equipment is strongly preferred. • Experience with Pfister® equipment is highly preferred. • Strong electrical, electronic and/or industrial automation troubleshooting skills. • Advanced/fluent English is mandatory due to regular collaboration with global technical teams and international colleagues. • Portuguese fluency; Spanish language skills are an advantage. • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently at customer sites and solve complex technical problems with limited supervision. • Availability to travel approximately 80% of the time, including international travel as required. • Ability to live within reasonable proximity to a major airport. • Experience working with international colleagues or global teams is preferred. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and related tools. • Strong teamwork, work ethic and integrity.
