About the role As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will provide technical and administrative support to our Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, and Purchasing teams. You will help research and validate parts and materials, review technical drawings and manuals, answer basic technical questions, and ensure accurate information is available to support customer inquiries and order execution. This is an internally focused, developmental role ideal for someone with technical aptitude, strong organizational skills, and an interest in learning industrial equipment and technologies. You will also help organize legacy technical information and improve part-number data, while building the knowledge and experience to grow into broader technical support or Service Engineering opportunities over time.
Your responsibilities
• Provide basic technical support to Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and other internal teams • Research and validate parts and materials using equipment information, technical drawings, specifications, manuals, and other documentation • Review technical documentation to identify and communicate accurate information • Answer basic technical questions and collaborate with Engineering and other internal teams when additional support is needed • Support customer inquiry and order handling by ensuring technical information and documentation are accurate and organized • Help drive the cleanup and deduplication of legacy part numbers in collaboration with Product Engineering • Support the archival, organization, and storage of Fuller’s legacy technical documentation • Identify discrepancies and assist with basic troubleshooting and problem solving • Develop knowledge of Fuller products, equipment, systems, and technologies over time • Collaborate across teams while managing multiple requests and priorities
What you bring
• Vocational/technical training, an Associate degree, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, Engineering, CAD/Drafting, Industrial Technology, or another related technical field preferred • Basic ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, specifications, and other technical documentation • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to research information and identify discrepancies • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when working with technical information and records • Ability to manage multiple requests and work effectively with cross-functional teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Curiosity and willingness to learn new products, equipment, systems, and technologies • Prior experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, technical support, maintenance, spare parts, or a related environment is helpful, but not required
