Job summary The Compliance Supervisor is responsible for providing day-to-day people leadership and operational oversight for Manila-based Compliance team members. This role partners closely with U.S.-based Compliance leaders to ensure effective team performance, operational consistency, and adherence to service expectations and established SLAs. The Supervisor is accountable for workforce management activities including training, onboarding, coaching, performance management, staffing, associate engagement, and professional development.
Essential functions
• Demonstrate expertise in Compliance and lead, coach, and develop Manila-based Compliance team members supporting U.S.-based Compliance operations. • Lead the Compliance Generalist team, including performance management, goal setting, career development, escalation point, and employee engagement activities. • Partner with stateside Compliance leadership to align staffing support, operational priorities, service expectations, and escalation management processes. • Monitor team performance, productivity, SLAs, quality outcomes, and operational metrics to ensure delivery expectations are achieved. • Facilitate regular team meetings, coaching discussions, feedback sessions, and development planning activities. • Address employee relations matters, attendance concerns, performance issues, and escalation items in partnership with HR and leadership as appropriate. • Identify operational improvement opportunities and support implementation of standardized workflows, process enhancements, and scalability initiatives. • Foster a culture of compliance, accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the GBS Compliance team. • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, confidentiality standards, compliance expectations, and operational procedures.

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in public health, allied health degrees, health services administration, business administration or any related fields (required) • Master’s degree in public health, allied health degrees, business administration or any related fields (preferred)
Required licensing and certifications
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance – Health Care Compliance Association (preferred)
Experience
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance (required) • 5+ Experience leading teams or serving in a supervisory/lead capacity (required) • Experience supporting U.S.-based operations or shared services environments (preferred)
Skills and abilities
• Maintain working knowledge of key healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, OIG, Stark, Anti-Kickback, etc.) • Strong leadership and team management capabilities • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills • Excellent stakeholder management across matrixed organizations • Process improvement and continuous improvement mindset • Data-driven with experience in reporting, metrics, and dashboarding • Strong communication skills with ability to engage leaders and operational stakeholders • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines • Willingness to flex across responsibilities and “step in” to execute work when needed • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Navigate electronic medical record systems to retrieve and review relevant documentation • Build trust and credibility with peers and operational staff. • Adapt to shifting priorities and changing regulatory requirements. • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical judgment.
