Job Overview:
We are looking for a driven Sales Development Associate (SDA) to turn inbound interest and outbound prospecting into qualified meetings for the sales team. The SDA will respond quickly to enquiries, proactively engage target prospects, understand their needs, and clearly communicate the value of our solutions.
This is a target-driven, customer-facing sales role. Success is measured by the quality and volume of qualified meetings and opportunities created responsiveness to new leads, consistent prospecting activity, and accurate CRM management.
Job Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to inbound enquiries, demo requests, marketing-generated leads, and other assigned prospects. • Contact prospects through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other approved outreach channels. • Proactively prospect into assigned target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers and influencers. • Research accounts and contacts to personalize outreach and understand likely business needs. • Conduct discovery conversations to assess prospect needs, current processes, challenges, and fit for our solutions. • Communicate the product value proposition clearly and develop a strong working knowledge of the company’s products, target market, and buyer personas. • Qualify prospects against defined criteria, including need, fit, urgency, decision-making process, and next steps. • Handle initial objections professionally and maintain follow-up cadences until a clear outcome is reached. • Schedule qualified discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives or the sales team. • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records of prospect activity, qualification notes, meeting outcomes, and next steps in the CRM. • Meet defined KPIs for speed-to-lead, outreach activity, contact rate, qualified meetings booked, meeting show rate, and accepted opportunities. • Share recurring customer objections, market feedback, and lead-quality insights with Sales and Marketing.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; a degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is an advantage. • 0–3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, business development, customer service, or another customer-facing role. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in sales are encouraged to apply. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence speaking to prospective customers by phone. • Basic understanding of prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, lead qualification, follow-up, and appointment setting. • Ability to learn product information quickly and explain it in a clear, relevant way. • Resilient, self-motivated, organized, and receptive to coaching. • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales-engagement tools is a plus. • Experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, or B2B technology is preferred but not required. • Ability and willingness to work in US Eastern Time timings.
