Job Summary
• This role is responsible for the application of chemicals, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with aerifications • Apply seed to designated areas • Sand topdressing applications
Education and Experience:
• Experience with chemical or spray applications • Chemical fertilization or pesticide industry application experience • Post-secondary education in turf science or a related field • Must obtain and maintain a state-sanctioned pesticide applicator license within 6 months of entry into this job • Maintain a valid Driver’s License • Strong attention to detail • Operate efficiently and safely at all times • Ability to prioritize daily work schedule based on minimal supervision • Ability to perform other cultural applications on the golf course as needed
Physical Demands/Requirements:
• Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds • Regular exposure to the outside environment, including rain, cold, sun, or night • Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping
Work Environment:
• The position primarily works outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels.
