Overview Job Summary for EchoVascular Ultrasound Performs adult transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echo exams and vascular ultrasound exams. Procedures include but are not limited to carotid Doppler, ABI/arterial Doppler, venous Doppler (DVT and venous Reflux).
Job Responsibilities for EchoVascular Ultrasound
• Performs cardiovascular ultrasound imaging examinations. • Performs studies independently in both in-patient and outpatient setting as well as procedural areas such as the Cardiac Cath Lab and Operating room. • Maintains equipment and supplies. • Ensures proper documentation of procedures. • Collaborates with reading physicians and medical staff for diagnosis. • Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• Degree: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: <2 Years
• Supervisor Experience: None Required
• RDMS License/Certification or equivalent
• BLS required within first 30 day of employment
Preferred Qualifications
• Degree: Associate Degree – Sonography
