• 16 Hours Per Week • 4:00a.m. to 12:30 p.m. • Weekend and holiday rotation required by department
Overview Job Summary Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
• Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
• Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Supervisor Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• < 2 Years’ Experience
• < 2 Years’ Supervisor Experience
