The facility is easily accessible from major Bay Area highways and BART with free onsite parking. Position Summary The Technologist Assistant plays a key role in supporting a positive patient experience and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the imaging center. This position assists technologists and administrative staff by greeting and escorting patients, preparing patients for examinations, and helping maintain smooth patient flow. The Technologist Assistant may also provide registration and clerical support as needed. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday on the evening shift. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Evening Shift. Key Responsibilities Patient Care Support

• Interview and verbally screen patients using designated safety protocols. • Review patient paperwork, questionnaires, and ensure required consents are completed. • Escort patients to and from dressing and examination rooms. • Assist with patient transfers when necessary. • Support radiologists and technologists during examinations by setting up coils, monitoring equipment, and ancillary medical devices. • Assist technologists with patient care duties as needed. Department Operations

• Maintain dressing and examination rooms by stocking supplies, removing linens, changing protective covers, and ensuring cleanliness. • Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the department and waiting areas. • Comply with department policies and procedures. • Participate in department communication and staff meetings. • Assist with training new employees. Registration and Scheduling Support When assigned to Registration Scheduler duties:

• Greet and register patients. • Confirm appointments. • Handle incoming calls, messages, transfers, and follow-up tasks. • Request prior imaging studies from referring physicians and medical facilities. • Perform clerical duties including filing, faxing, copying, typing, and mail distribution. Qualifications Required

• High School Diploma or GED. • Current CPR/BLS Healthcare Provider certification upon hire and maintained throughout employment. • Basic computer and keyboard skills. • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. • Strong attention to detail. Preferred

• Six months of related experience or training in a radiology setting. • Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology. Professional Development Expectations

• Maintain required education records, competencies, and education modules. • Participate in ongoing safety education. • Complete all required annual training and medical screening requirements, including PPD, mask fit testing, flu requirements, and other site-specific mandates. Rate range: $25.78 - $31.84 Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
