*Eligible for up to 1,000 Sign On Bonus, if hired!* Baptist Health is currently looking to add an Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist to our Special Procedures Department at Baptist Downtown located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN Days opportunity. Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist Responsibilities:
• Performs high quality radiographic images • Functions as member of a team performing interventional procedures on patients • Working under sterile conditions, very similar to the OR • Promotes good will among co-workers and other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients • Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements • Must participate in on-call coverage • Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy Experience Requirements:
• Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist Experience Preferred • Experience performing special interventional procedures Preferred • Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred • Customer Service Experience Preferred • Experience with vascular imaging procedures Preferred Education & Credential Requirements:
• Vocational School Required • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - State Radiologic Health Branch Preferred • Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular – ARRT Preferred • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT – ARRT Preferred • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Preferred • Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH Preferred This Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist will be located at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL.
