About this role
Workday Absence and Time Tracking Consultant
Role overview
Albida is looking for a Workday Absence and Time Tracking Consultant to lead configuration, design, and delivery for clients running or implementing these modules. You'll work directly with client stakeholders — HR, payroll, and operations leaders — to translate business requirements into working Workday solutions.
What you'll do
• Lead discovery sessions to capture absence and time tracking requirements across client organisations • Configure Workday Absence Management: accrual rules, eligibility rules, absence plans, and calendars • Configure Workday Time Tracking: time entry templates, time calculations, overtime rules, and scheduling • Design and build integrations between Time Tracking, Absence, and downstream Payroll • Run workshops, prototype reviews, and UAT sessions with client teams • Produce functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and test scripts • Troubleshoot production issues and recommend fixes within Workday best practice • Support go-live and hypercare phases, including data validation and cutover planning • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to Albida's delivery methodology
What you'll bring
• 3+ years' hands-on Workday configuration experience in Absence Management and/or Time Tracking • At least one full lifecycle implementation (design through go-live) • Strong understanding of accrual calculations, overtime rules, and complex scheduling patterns • Experience gathering requirements directly from client stakeholders, not just internal teams • Comfortable working across multiple concurrent client engagements • Clear written and verbal communication — you'll be presenting to executive sponsors • Workday Pro Certification in Absence Management and/or Time Tracking preferred
If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
