Job Posting Title Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job Description Summary Responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery, including hydraulic presses and CNC machines, to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity. Also responsible for spare parts management and compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Job Description:
• Perform periodic maintenance, repair, and refurbishment activities without disrupting production plans and schedules. • Ensure that equipment breakdowns are resolved as quickly as possible. • Maintain inventory records of spare parts and materials required for mechanical maintenance and repairs. • Identify material and equipment needs arising from repair and maintenance activities and submit requests to the supervisor. • Determine material requirements for mechanical maintenance and repair activities and maintain emergency stock for urgent needs. • Ensure regular maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and materials used. • Perform all activities in compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) rules.
Required Skills and Education
• Graduate of relevant departments of Vocational High Schools or Vocational Schools, • Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, • Experience with mechanical/hydraulic presses and CNC machines, • Strong sense of responsibility for monitoring and performing periodic machine maintenance, • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams, • Willing and able to work in shifts, • Residing or willing to reside on the European Side of Istanbul, • For male candidates, military service must be completed or no military obligation must remain.
