Dein Traumjob The Sales Manager will drive business growth across designated Eastern European markets by developing sales strategies, acquiring new water utility customers, and expanding strategic key accounts. The role takes ownership of the entire sales cycle, from customer acquisition and tender management to contract negotiations and successful project handover. Working closely with internal teams, the position delivers tailored technical and commercial solutions while building long-term relationships with utilities, distributors, system integrators, and other key partners. In addition, the role coordinates pilot projects, monitors market developments, maintains accurate sales data and forecasts, and represents Engelmann at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events. Deine Aufgaben <strong> </strong><br><ul><li>Develop and implement sales and market strategies across assigned Eastern European markets.</li><li>Identify, acquire, and develop new water utility customers and strategic key accounts.</li><li>Manage the entire sales cycle, including customer acquisition, tenders, negotiations, contract awards, and project handover.</li><li>Build and maintain long-term relationships with utilities, distributors, system integrators, and other strategic partners.</li><li>Prepare competitive technical and commercial solutions in close collaboration with internal departments.</li><li>Coordinate pilot projects, field trials, product approvals, and technical clarifications with customers.</li><li>Maintain accurate CRM data, sales forecasts, and market intelligence while monitoring competitors and industry developments.</li><li>Represent Engelmann at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.</li></ul> Dein Profil <ul><li>Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience in water utilities, smart metering, AMR/AMI, metering, or a comparable technical industry.</li><li>Proven success in developing new business and managing complex sales processes with municipal or private utilities.</li><li>Experience with public tenders, technical specifications, and utility procurement processes.</li><li>Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.</li><li>Degree in Engineering, Environmental Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Good understanding of water utility operations and smart metering technologies.</li><li>Fluent business English; poficiency in an Eastern European language is a must.
