Deine Aufgaben We are looking for an experienced <strong>Business Analyst</strong> to support complex enterprise IT projects in the financial services and banking environment.<br>The Business Analyst acts as the interface between business stakeholders, product management, architecture and software development teams, translating business needs into clear, structured and technically feasible requirements.<br>The role is suitable for projects involving the modernization of existing applications, development of new digital services, system integrations, cloud transformation and optimization of business processes.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Analyze, clarify and document business and functional requirements.</li><li>Translate business needs into structured <strong>requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria</strong>.</li><li>Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, developers, DevOps engineers and QA teams.</li><li>Organize and moderate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.</li><li>Analyze existing applications, processes and system behavior in order to identify functional dependencies and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Support the modernization and replacement of legacy systems.</li><li>Define and document functional flows, business rules, interfaces and data-related requirements.</li><li>Support the specification of <strong>REST APIs, system integrations and service interactions</strong> together with technical teams.</li><li>Identify gaps, inconsistencies and dependencies in business requirements.</li><li>Ensure that requirements are clear, complete, testable and technically implementable.</li><li>Support backlog refinement, sprint planning and prioritization activities.</li><li>Collaborate with QA teams in defining test scenarios and validating implemented functionality.</li><li>Support business stakeholders during acceptance testing and rollout.</li><li>Maintain clear and up-to-date functional and requirements documentation.</li><li>Act as a communication bridge between business and technical teams.</li></ul><br> Was du mitbringst <strong>Required Experience</strong><br><ul><li>Several years of professional experience as a <strong>Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer or similar role</strong> in software development projects.</li><li>Strong experience in analyzing and structuring complex business and functional requirements.</li><li>Experience writing <strong>user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications</strong>.</li><li>Good understanding of software development processes and modern application architectures.</li><li>Experience working with <strong>REST APIs, system integrations and distributed systems</strong>.</li><li>Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with software architects and development teams.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Agile / Scrum</strong> software development environments.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned topics.</li><li>Experience working in complex enterprise environments.</li></ul><br><strong>Nice to Have</strong><br><ul><li>Experience in <strong>banking, financial services, accounting, tax, insurance or fintech environments</strong>.</li><li>Experience with modernization or migration of legacy applications.</li><li>Understanding of <strong>cloud-native architectures, microservices and event-driven systems</strong>.</li><li>Experience with data-driven applications, reporting or analytics solutions.</li><li>Knowledge of BPMN, UML or similar modeling techniques.</li><li>Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence or comparable requirements-management platforms.</li><li>Basic understanding of databases, SQL and data models.</li><li>Experience working in regulated environments.</li></ul><strong>Language Skills</strong><br><ul><li><strong>German: B2/C1 or higher</strong>, depending on the project and stakeholder environment.</li><li><strong>English: B2 or higher</strong> for communication within international technical teams.</li></ul><strong>Personal Skills</strong><br><ul><li>Structured and analytical way of working.</li><li>Strong communication and facilitation skills.</li><li>Ability to quickly understand complex business domains.</li><li>High level of ownership and reliability.</li><li>Comfortable working with both business and highly technical stakeholders.</li><li>Pragmatic approach with a focus on delivering implementable solutions.</li></ul><br> Deine Ansprechpartner Lucian Mihaila
