An exciting opportunity has arisen for newly qualified and experienced midwives to join our impatient and community services. We offer a comprehensive preceptorship package and excellent support for new starters
We have full time and part time positions available in our friendly and supportive teams across the county with roles available in inpatient areas and community to include supporting women choosing homebirths on an on-call basis.

We offer opportunities to work alongside specialist services including our internationally acclaimed spinal unit. Our maternity services provide care for approximately 4,800 women and their families. We offer a variety of birth choices for our diverse population and have a dedicated suite for women experiencing bereavement. We have a level 2 neonatal service and close links with the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Main duties of the job
Band 5/6 midwives will be offered a hybrid working opportunity to rotate between in patient and community services Experienced band 6 midwives also have the opportunity to choose community working or inpatient care.
Midwives will be responsible for antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care provision, across all areas of our maternity services.
