Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership across wards, theatres, outpatients, diagnostics, and pharmacy.Maintain a clinical governance framework, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.Act as Director of Infection Prevention & Control, overseeing IPC strategy.Collaborate with the Hospital Director on strategic and workforce plans.Ensure safe staffing and competency across clinical areas.Lead quality improvement and learn from incidents and feedback.Build relationships with Consultants, GPs, and stakeholders.Support financial stewardship through resource management.Inspire and develop high-performing clinical teams.What You'll Bring
Strong clinical background in acute care.Professional registration (NMC, HCPC, or GPhC).Experience in senior clinical leadership in a hospital.Expertise in clinical governance and patient safety.Ability to lead change and improvement initiatives.Effective partnership development with medical colleagues.Understanding of healthcare legislation and CQC requirements.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Values-driven approach aligned to "People Caring for People".
