About this role
Qualifications:
• Diploma in civil engineering, drafting, or CAD / BIM technology
• Minimum 8 years of drafting experience
Technical skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and GIS tools
Preferred experience:
• Experience working on hydropower / dam projects
• Exposure to design consultancy environments
• Knowledge of geotechnical and hydraulic design interfaces
Key responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards.
• Create and manage 3D surface models.
• Build alignments (horizontal & vertical) and profiles.
• Import and process survey data.
• Perform surface analysis.
• Prepare earthwork reports and volume calculations.
• Optimize grading for cost and efficiency.
• Maintain consistent sheet layouts, title blocks, and scales.
• Resolve design conflicts through model coordination.
• Support value engineering initiatives.
