About this role
Per Diem opportunity in the Westchester County area. Must be available for at least two cases per week. Cases are assigned within travel time of 15 miles from RN's base of business.
Specialty infusion therapy in patient's home including: IVIG, TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, anti-infective therapy, enzyme replacement, inotropic therapy, hemophilia factor products.
Most patients are seen on a weekly or monthly basis depending on their needs.
PICC Line and Central Line CareIV InsertionCentral Line Dressing Changes and Lab Drawing (weekly)Port MaintenanceStart IVsAccessing and De-accessing PortsTeach patients and caregivers to perform and monitor the administration of home infusion as prescribed.Document all patient-directed activities.
Proficiency insertion of peripheral IVs.Current state licensure(s) as a Registered Nurse in good standing.A minimum of one year recent infusion experience.Must be available for at least two cases a week.BLS certification is required.
