Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer / Project Manager to support and lead various crane projects for clients in the aerospace, military, energy, private, and manufacturing sectors. This role is aligned with our hybrid work schedule; however, a fully remote arrangement may be considered for candidates with the appropriate experience and based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and managing crane refurbishment and replacement projectsTechnical lead and project management responsibilitiesSupporting business development and securing successful solicitationsClient coordination and multidisciplinary team leadershipSite visits, construction support, load testingQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineSolidWorks proficiency preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredMinimum 8 years of crane or heavy machinery engineering experienceProven success in securing work and managing projectsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAvailability to travel occasionally to site visits and client meetingsEffective technical writing and communication skillsExcellent time management skillsA positive attitude with a focus on team and client successSalary range: $100,000-$150,000
