What you’ll do
As a Support Worker in Supported Living, you’ll support people to live independently in their own homes.
This role is about empowering people to live the life they choose, building confidence, developing life skills, and promoting independence not just providing care.
You’ll:
Support individuals to manage their own homes and daily routinesEncourage independence with cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal organisationSupport people to access the community, attend appointments, and take part in social activitiesProvide emotional support and build positive, trusting relationshipsAssist with personal care where required, always promoting dignity and choiceFollow person-centred support plans and risk assessmentsWork alongside families, social workers, and other professionalsMaintain accurate records and contribute to support reviewsYou’ll be helping people gain independence, confidence, and control over their lives.
Experience in care is essential. Experience in supported living or learning disabilities is beneficial.
