About this role
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll support a 54-year-old gentleman with cerebral palsy in his own home. Our client attends a day centre during the week, and you’ll provide support when he returns home, helping him with his evening and night-time routine.
At weekends, you may also support him to get out and enjoy activities in the community. He particularly enjoys hydrotherapy swimming, listening to music and watching television.
The key tasks within this role include:
Supporting with personal care, including showeringMoving and handlingPreparing mealsAdministering medicationCompleting his evening and night-time routineSupporting him with days out and activities at weekends What we’re looking for:
You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience, as we provide full nurse-led training. Experience with medication administration and moving and handling would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
You must hold a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.
