About this role
What you'll do
The client is a young adult who has an acquired brain injury and is non-verbal, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as:
PEG feeds (PEJ)Intermittent Catheter CareMedication AdministrationMonitoring the client's condition for seizures.Using moving & handling equipment.Also please be aware that the client does have two dogs in the home and loves anyone who has a bubbly personality, keen to wear bright clothing and is a very clear communicator.
What you'll need
Experience in the following would be extremely advantageous for your application:
Intermittent catheter care.Suctioning machines.PEJsSeizure management and anti-seizure medication, rescue packs etc. The only essential requirements is as follows:
Clear Communication Skills.
A full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, due to the location and transport links.
